Hazelnut & Date Pick-Me-Up Bars

These bars are here to set you straight when you are haaaaangry. You might be that person right now… so hungry and ready to grab anything and the first thing you see. I get it, it honestly happens to me way more than I want to admit. So many times i’ll be going, going, going so much that it’ll hit me, holy shit… I haven’t eaten in 7 hours!

These bars can be a really good solution for that exact moment. They only have 6 ingredients, and take 5 minutes to make. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

I added ashwaghanda and chia seed powder to give you that extra little lovin’ you’ll most definitely need during a blood sugar crash. The ashwaghanda will help manage stress and mellow you out from the hanger that was about to ensue. The chia seed powder will help keep you full and satisfied until your next meal. Not to mention, both of these things can do way way more than just that, making them the perfect additives to any good pick-me-up.

Make this recipe as part of your meal prep and you’ll for sure thank me later.
