All hail the green smoothie!! I am obsessed with green smoothies, so much so, that once upon a time I even wrote an entire ebook about them. They’re the most perfect way to start the day, and to be honest, breakfast doesn’t get much easier than this!

This particular smoothie was designed to give your gut a little extra love. Packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants & immune boosting super powers, you’ll be feeling like wonder woman in no time. This is the perfect smoothie if you’re looking to cleanse, or to start your week with.

All the ingredients are easily accessible, in season for springtime and super inexpensive!

The Goods

  • 2 stalks celery

  • 2 kiwis

  • 1 handful parsley

  • 1 inch whole ginger

  • 1 apple, sliced

  • 1/2 cucumber 

  • 4 kale leaves, stemmed

  • 4 romaine leaves

  • 1 handful spinach

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 scoop KOS protein powder

  • 12 oz filtered water

The Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Optional: for colder smoothies, add a little ice and the end and blend for a few seconds.
