The ultimate, easiest snack ever! Trail mix is one of those completely under rated snacks. It can legit save your life when hiking (hence the name) or can keep you from dozing off during your mid-afternoon meeting.

I love to use chopped dates in my trail mix as it’s one of the best and easiest ways to get that sweet chewy bite, without any added sugar that you would normally get from dried fruit. Dates also have major superfood properties. From disease fighting antioxidants, to promoting brain health, to high potassium, these little fruits are a powerhouse for a natural sweetener in recipes! All you have to do is pour everything into a quart jar and shake!

Makes 3/4 of a quart size.

The Goods:

  • 1/4 cup almonds, 

  • 1/4 cup chocolate

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/4 cup dates

  • 1/4 cup walnuts 

  • 1/4 cup pecans

  • 1/4 cup pistachios
